It's been a very busy summer. We've been at Art Festivals around new England and got some really good news from the national organization of Professional Photographers of America. Two of my prints were accepted into the General Collection of the 117th International Exhibition of Professional Photography and will be on display at the Phoenix convention center, Jan 11-13, 2009 at Imaging USA.
Approximately 4,514 entries were submitted to the competition and a panel of more than 40 eminent photographers from across the US selected the images for the 2008 General and Loan collections. Really, really cool news!
Here's the two prints that were selected: The first is called "By Any Other Name".
This print was actually my first professional blue ribbon print and won the Fuji Masterpiece Award.
Here's the second print, called Touch of Bronze.
The regional New England Print competition is coming up in a couple of weeks, so you'll hear more on that later.
